The Photos

The photos were taken with the Canon EOS 350D (Rebel XT) and a humble set of lenses. Check out the rest of my photos at Zooomr or Flickr.

The contents of this blog is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-ShareAlike license (legal code), unless otherwise stated.

So what does that mean?

As succinctly explained in the Creative Commons FAQ:

Attribution=you must attribute the author and/or licensor in the manner they require.
NonCommercial=you may not use the work in a manner primarily directed toward commercial advantage or private monetary compensation.
ShareAlike=you may only make derivative works if you license them under the same Creative Commons license terms.

For attribution, please again refer to the Creative Commons FAQ “How do I properly attribute a Creative Commons licensed work?”. You may credit me simply with a link to the blog.

As to what constitutes commercial/non-commercial use, please refer to the Creative Commons NonCommercial Guidelines. “Commercial use” is a difficult term to nail down (the guidelines is a commendable attempt), but I generally abide by a simple rule:

“If my work helped you to pay your bills, please do help me to pay my bills.”
Stefan Tiedje, on the cc-licenses mailing list

If you wish to license my work commercially or need exemptions/clarifications, please drop me a note using the contact form. I’m fairly “liberal” in my interpretation of the spirit of the license, so drop me a note if there’s something interesting you wish to do. I’ll most likely be happy to grant you your request and even give you a free plug on the blog.

Thanks goes out to the folks at Creative Commons for the great work that they do. The Creative Commons FAQ is licensed under the Attribution 2.5 license.
